Frequently Asked Questions
Got a ministry verse? Yep, sure do! 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, "But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
Ben had open-heart surgery in January 2020 for congenital heart defects and Paige is actively fighting chronic Lyme disease. Our verse reminds us that while we are young and have had our share of health struggles, it is Christ’s strength empowering us to accomplish anything we do. All the glory to God as He uses us, such imperfect and broken people, as laborers for His Kingdom.
What is "shred" ministry? And do you only reach out to shredders? Shred ministry is another term for action sports ministry. For us, it's skateboarders, surfers, skiers, and snowboarders. Shred ministry is our main objective with youth being a special focus, but we are all about the Great Commission and do not limit ourselves in sharing God's love.
Are you available as guest speakers? We would love to come and speak to your church, youth group, school, or special event! We welcome the opportunity to talk not only about the ministry but also to share our testimonies or to speak on any number of spiritual topics to meet your group's needs. Send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you have to surf, skate, or ski to be a volunteer? Nope! If you love Jesus and feel called to help share God's love, we'd love to hear from you. Click on contact us.
Can I skate, surf, ride, or ski with y'all? That would be epic; we'd love to meet up! We're most local to Hampton Skatepark, Newburyport, and Exeter; and we will travel! When there's swell, look for us around 12th Street at "The Wall." Winter of '20-'21 we'll primarily be at Gunstock but our passes also work at Waterville Valley, Cranmore, and Cannon. Want to meet up? DM us!
